My floristry career began the day I left school, when I started as a junior florist in Stratford, Taranaki, New Zealand. Over the following years, I achieved N.Z.P.F. Junior and Senior Floristry Certificates. Finally the N.Z.P.F. Diploma – which really motivated me over the years, especially in my florist business of 26 + years. Teaching and demonstrating around the country at Education weekends has been a highlight. I was able to visit parts of New Zealand that I may never have seen otherwise.

My passion for flowers and design has fueled a wonderful lifestyle.

After 26 years as New Plymouth's La Fragrance Floriste, I have now launched a new phase in my business: a fresh name and location. The bright new studio with flourishing garden provides the freedom and space that allows creativity to thrive, with stunning results.

I am a passionate inspiring florist living my dream.

Specialising in weddings, WOW also creates flowers for every occasion: from the romance of a single flower to fragrant formal or funky bouquets, sympathy tributes, or stylish permanent silk-flower arrangements. My enthusiasm extends beyond the studio, I still run classes and am shaping future florists by upskilling as an assessor.

To create “wonderous” creations requires professional skill and time. It is pointless having beautiful flowers that won’t last the distance. I can assure you I will endeavour to give you all that – and more.
